One of the easiest ways to get involved in Knit it Forward – The Cartel Community Drive 2026 is to simply start making.
We have free crochet and knitting patterns suitable for creating beanies, scarves and a beautiful shawl. These patterns have been chosen to be approachable, repeatable and perfect for community making - whether you’re creating at home, joining a workshop, or popping in to make alongside others in-store.
We invite you to use these patterns to create items of warmth for the coming colder months, to be donated through Fabric Cartel to local organisations supporting people in our community.

If you’d like to learn, refine your skills, or stitch in good company, you’re always welcome to join a how-to crochet or knitting class, or simply drop in and create in-store during opening hours.
