Shipping policy

Once your order has been processed, our fulfilment process begins. If your order has not yet shipped, we are happy to accommodate any changes to your order. We pride ourselves on fast shipping however if your order has been shipped, we cannot make changes or cancellations.

Domestic Shipping

We will always ship to your shipping address unless specified otherwise.  It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure the address is correct.

Please do not order IN STOCK items with your pre-order.  We will not ship your order until the order is full filled with the pre-order items.

Shipping costs are automatically calculated and options are presented when viewing your cart and at Checkout, through Australia Post.

Orders containing fabric and/or other items will be shipped as a parcel via Australia Post.  We aim to ship your order within 24 to 48 hours of order receipt (unless pre-ordered, specified ETA is on the listing of the product).  Please allow 2 to 7 days for delivery within Australia, depending upon location.  Express shipping is an option is you require the item/s sooner.

If by chance your parcel is returned to us as a result of not being collected from an Australia Post depot within their time frame, you will need to cover the costs for us to resend the order.

Express Shipping

You can select Express shipping as an option.  This means you order will be delivered to you quicker by Australia Post, but it does not mean your order will be processed above other orders.   If you do require your order by a certain date, please indicate this in the customer notes, and we will endeavour to accommodate your request.

Pre-Order Items

Pre-order items (such as fabrics, kits, templates and patterns) are not subject to any sales or promotions of any kind.   They are found in our Pre-order section.  Placing a pre-order means that you are reserving the item (fabric / kits / templates / patterns / etc.) by paying for it up-front, before Fabric Cartel has received it. Fabric Cartel does not have the fabric in stock when it is listed as a pre-order item.  All pre-order stock is shipped as soon as possible upon supply of items and you will receive a tracking information at that time via email. 

The estimated date of arrival is noted clearly in the pre-order listing.  Unfortunately, its arrival is not in our control, sometimes manufacturers can experience quality control issues, delays, or mis-shipments. If there is an issue with your pre-order (delays, missing items, etc.) we will contact you immediately to make you aware of the situation.

Be aware that all pre-order sales are final and cannot be cancelled, altered or traded or combined with other orders.
